Things to Know Before Getting Tattooed

- It’s always best to be tattooed in as natural a state as possible.  It’s better not to be tattooed under adverse circumstances.
- If you’re sick or under the weather, please wait until you’re feeling better before getting tattooed.
- Make sure to eat something a few hours before you come in.  Getting tattooed on an empty stomach may cause you to feel faint, nauseated, or dizzy.
- Allow plenty of time for your visit. Your tattoo session will be most enjoyable if you have time to appreciate it.
- Proper hygiene is extremely important before & after getting tattooed.  Fresh clothing and a recent shower will get your new tattoo off to a great start.
- A valid, government issued photo ID is required by law.  We can’t assist you without it.

Drugs & Alcohol

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client that appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  Pain killers, aspirin, ibuprofen, and anesthetics are not required prior to being tattooed.  In fact, most will usually compromise the experience and may possibly cause problems, such as increased bleeding.

Identification & Age Policy

All clients must present a valid, government issued, photo ID.  We will not tattoo anyone under 16 years of age.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Minors

Clients under 18 years of age must have written consent from their parent or legal guardian.  Clients under 18 years of age will first be scheduled a consultation appointment with a tattoo artist to discuss the possibility of getting tattooed.

In addition:

- The parent or guardian must accompany the minor child to the appointment & be present throughout the procedure
- Presentation of the parent or guardian AND the minor child’s valid, government issued, photo ID (drivers license, passport or military ID) are required.  If none of the above forms of identification are available, the minor child’s birth certificate along with a school photo ID is acceptable.
- If the parent or guardian & the minor child do not share the same last name, a birth certificate or proof of legal guardianship is required!
- A written consent form must be filled out on the premises & signed by both the parent or legal guardian & the minor child.

Price

There is a $50.00 minimum for all tattoo services.  The total price of your tattoo will depend on the amount of time the procedure will take to complete.  Time is factored by the size, amount of detail, and where on the body the tattoo will be placed. Should you choose to purchase your aftercare products here, we offer an extensive line of tattoo aftercare products appropriate for the cleaning and care of your new tattoo.

Appointment Policy

Tattoo procedures are primarily done on a first-come-first serve basis.   However, for your convenience we do offer appointments for clients requesting a specific artist or for those looking to have more extensive pieces done.

A $50.00 per hour deposit is required in order to guarantee an appointment time

100% of the deposit is deducted from the price of the tattoo.  Should you no-show or not give a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation the deposit will be forfeited. We can not schedule a tattoo appointment if you don’t know what you want! The artist must see the artwork in order to determine how long the tattoo will take to complete, thus determining how long of an appointment you will needIt is also imperative that your artist knows exactly what you want prior to your appointment time. This way you’re not using the scheduled tattoo time for artwork preparation.

PLEASE do not walk-in and expect to be tattooed immediately

Our artist’s strive to provide the highest quality artwork for each & every client. Time is needed for artwork preparation, especially on larger pieces. It is to your benefit to give your artist as much advance notice as possible. Time is also needed for proper room disinfection & set-up between each client.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior

…to your scheduled appointment to allow time for paperwork completion and any additional artwork changes.  If you’re unable to keep your scheduled appointment or if you’re running late, please call so that we may accommodate other clients.

We do not allow children under the age of 12 into the studio. We appreciate your cooperation in regards to this matter.
